ASTROLOGICAL HIGHLIGHTS - September/October 2008
Major planetary influences Sep - Oct 2008.
There will be a beneficial alignment of Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo on the 9th September. Jupiter governs, among other things, spirituality and knowledge, while Saturn represents wisdom and mastery. Jupiter encourages us to discover the truth and Saturn allows us to see reality. Therefore this alignment of Jupiter and Saturn can provide us with a very helpful take on life. Jupiter in Capricorn encourages us to achieve our highest potential while Saturn in Virgo helps us to understand and define what is required of us in order that we can achieve this potential. In other words this planetary alignment allows us to see what is possible and how we can make it happen. We may see clearly what supports us in life and the best ways in which we can optimise this support to achieve our goals. We may also become more aware of our limitations under this influence but at the same time we should have the insight and understanding necessary to overcome them. We all seek to achieve our purpose in life, to become masters of our own destiny, and it is to this end that we can truly benefit from this Jupiter – Saturn enlightening alignment.Mars enters Scorpio on the 4th October so we are likely to experience a shift in our energy then. The energising planet will be going to work on a deeply emotional level stirring our passions and desires. Scorpio is the sign that governs therapy and therapists so they can expect to be busy. The good thing about this placement of Mars is that it allows us to penetrate beneath the surface and bring to light things that have been buried, forgotten about, or disowned. Two positive qualities associated with Scorpio are love and forgiveness, while two negative qualities are blame and resentment. We know that blaming others will never give us our power back and resentment will never be a good servant of love. Mars is in Scorpio until 16th November 2008 so we have a number of weeks to make the most of the opportunities it brings. Encouraged and inspired by Mars we may undergo a transformation of our negative emotions and a release from the hold of past experiences that have impacted on our lives.
